New to the 2010/11 season... uniform purchase for bantam and midget EYBA players...The purchase of a reversible uniform will be mandatory for those players that are bantam and midget registering for the 'A' EYBA division team OR the regular EYBA team. Payment of $35 must accompany the completed registration and be a separate cheque from that of the registration payment. These cheques are not deposited until the uniforms are ordered in late September. Please see the registration form for details in this regard. NOTE: These reversible uniforms are to be kept by the players, therefore, a uniform deposit cheque is NOT required. The purchase of a plain black pair of shorts is optional and that payment ($20) can be included in the uniform payment of $35 (total = $55).PLEASE NOTE: A uniform deposit cheque (dated March 31, 2011 for $100) is required for ALL house league programs: U9 boys, U9 girls, U11 boys, U11 girls, U13 boys & U15 boys.A uniform deposit cheque is also required for EYBA mini teams as well as juvenile teams. The purchase of a uniform is NOT required. It is an option to purchase a plain black pair of shorts for $20 (separate payment please).
Gym Care Reminder:Near the bottom of this home page there is a list of 'rules' that apply to our gym rentals. We are having problems convincing some people that outdoor wet/dirty shoes/boots MUST be removed and left at the door. If you are distrusting that your shoes will remain there and not get stolen, bring a bag to put them in and take them with you where you sit to watch the game. Please ensure the floor is kept clean and dry. We are being threatened of losing Pine Street School & St. Theresa School, gyms where we have four divisions playing in. We lose the gyms, we lose a bunch of games played there, eventually we cannot run the league and the kids lose out. Gyms are extremely hard to come by, so please comply by our rules. If we lose Pine Street or St. T's, there is NO alternative.
Two more reminders; all players/coaches/parents/siblings must remain in the gym at all times during the games (obviously, bathroom breaks are allowed). Siblings cannot be left alone unsupervised in the hallways. As well, ONLY water can be brought into the gyms. Not allowed in the gyms: coffee in cups, coffee in travel mugs, gatorade, etc.. We are very thankful to those that do comply with the rules as set out by the School Boards (not SBA rules). Thank you for your continued cooperation! Unfortunately, it only takes one or two to ruin it for the rest. If you could help out by reminding those that do not comply, SBA would be very grateful!
